Angela Denton

Research Assistant, DDS Candidate

Angela is currently a 1st year dental student assisting with research in the McLean lab. She graduated from Eastern Washington University with her BS in biology with a minor in chemistry and has an AA in fine arts. Her enthusiasm for research began in the Walke lab at EWU, where she studied the host-microbial interactions of the frog skin microbiome and honey bee gut microbiomes. Angela aspires to become a periodontist after completing her DDS at UWSOD. Outside of school she enjoys gardening, kayaking, gaming, and visiting local breweries.
